Zaman, Labeeb, Rafi grab 1st Inter-School Squash Championship titles

Muhammad Zaman, Labeeb Butt, and Rafi Khan clinched titles in the 1st Inter-School Squash Championship at PN Roshan Khan & Jehangir Khan Squash Complex Fleet Club, Karachi.

The inaugural Inter-School Squash Championship 2019 concluded successfully at PN Roshan Khan & Jehangir Khan Squash Complex Fleet Club Karachi, where 120 player from 30 different schools participated.

In the final of under-13 category, Muhammad Zaman of St. Michael School thrashed Abdul Basit of Fazaia Degree Faisal with the final score line of 11-5, 11-5, 11-3.

Labeeb Butt of Fazaia College Malir smashed Ammar Ali of Fazaia College Malir 11-6, 11-6, 11-7 in the final of under-15 category.

Rafi Khan of Govt. Degree College Malir won the boys under-19 title after beating Bilal Islam of Karachi Grammar School 11-6, 11-5, 9-11, 11-8.

Zainab Khan of Karachi Grammer School defeated Fehmina Asim of P.E.C.H.S College with the final score line of 11-2, 11-7, 11-4.

In the girl’s under-15 category, Amna Malik of A.P.S Malir thrashed Aina Aziz of ST. Patrick by 3-0 with the final scores of 11-5, 11-6, and 11-9

CEO of West Minister Private Schooling System Irfan Khan graced the ceremony as chief guest along with LT. CDR Pakistan Navy Manager PN Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan Complex, Rehmat Ullah while tournament Director and Owner of Muslim Sports Junaid Sardharia was also present there.

The four-day long championship was sponsored by Westminster private school.

The 120 player from 30 different schools were seen in action in: Girls Under15, Girls Under19, Boys under 13, Boys under 15, Boys under 19.
