The Islamabad Club Polo (ICP) overpowered Lahore Polo Club (LPC) 10-3½ in the Annual U-19 Polo Cup at the Lahore Polo and Country Club.

A hat-trick each by Ismail, Mohammad Ali and Mikael Sami helped ICP record a fine victory. Bilal Rasool chipped in with one goal for his side.
Nazar Din Ali Khan, Mustafa Aziz and Mohib Shahzad scored a goal each for LPC which had a half-goal handicap.
Meanwhile, Lahore Garrison Polo Club president retired Col Shoaib Aftab said it was a memorable moment in the country’s polo history that an U-19 event was being held for the first time.
“Twelve youngsters are taking part in this tournament, which means that these promising players will soon serve Pakistan polo and play their roles in further promoting this game of kings and knights,” he said.
