Pakistan Football Federation announces National Men's Football Team's tour of Malaysia
The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalization Committee has announced a training camp and tour of Pakistan National Men's Football Team to Malaysia next month.
Pakistan football has been marred in controversy for a while now but winds of change are blowing in Pakistan football, this time hopefully, for the betterment of the national team.
The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalization Committee has announced a tour of Malaysia for the Men's National Football Team of Pakistan. The tour is scheduled to take place from the 17th till 24th of January 2020.
In this regard, the training camp for selection of the team will be held from 2nd to 16th January 2020 at KRL Football Ground, Rawalpindi.
PFF have also elected Mr Ayaz Butt as the national team manager and Mr Gohar Zaman as the assistant coach for the national team’s tour of Malaysia next month.
They were named alongside head coach Tariq Lutfi, who was handed the national team’s reins following the appointment of the Normalization Committee in September this year. Lutfi’s first assignment was to take Pakistan to the South Asian Games earlier this month but the team wasn’t able to attend the regional event in Nepal due to issues over its accreditation.
The Pakistani team will depart for their week-long tour on January 17 and will be staying at the AFC headquarters.
While Malaysia’s football team will not be available to play against them, Pakistan will square off against some club teams during the tour.
