Benazir Bhutto Shaheed National Ranking Championship 2019: Day-2 Results
Aisam-ul-Haq and Aqeel Khan started their men's double main round campaign of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed National Ranking Championship with a victory at the Islamabad Tennis Complex.
Veteran tennis players Aisam-ul-Haq and Aqeel Khan stole the limelight as they comfortably crushed the pair of Col. Shahid and Usman Ejaz in their men’s doubles match of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed National Ranking Championship at the Islamabad Tennis Complex.
Aisam and Aqeel won the game with a one sided final score line of 6-1, 6-1.
In another match, the partnership of brothers Muzammil and Mudassir Murtaza beat Rashid Malik and Sikandar Hayat 6-2, 6-2.
Former Davis Cupper 58-year-old Hameed-ul-Haq showed once again that class is permanent and form is temporary, as he came from behind to beat Junior Davis Cup team member Ahmed Kamil 2-1 in marathon 3-hour men’s singles first round match.
