PGF President hits Hole-in-One, as Lake City Winter Classic Golf Tournament 2019 concludes
Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) President, played powerful tee shots to win third gross prize as well as Hole-in-One in Lake City Winter Classic Golf Tournament 2019 which successfully concluded at Lake City Golf and Country Club in Lahore.
Lahore's Lake City Golf and Country Club gladly hosted the 2019 edition of Lake City Winter Classic Golf Tournament which concluded with many avid golfers securing positions in their respective categories.
The most prestigious prize of every golf event, the Hole-in-One was claimed by Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) President, Lt Gen (R), Hilal Hussain, who, during the course of the outing, hit an excellent eight iron shot on the par three, fourth hole and the ball went straight into the hole resulting in a Hole-in-One and the reward for this high-quality lucky shot was a superb golf set awarded by Gohar Ejaz of Lake City Golf Club.
He not only won the Hole-in-One title but also played powerful tee shots and a three putt on the eighth hole which resulted in a score that was good enough to fetch him the third gross prize.
In the race for honors in Gross section, experienced golfer, Sohail Naseem of Lahore Gymkhana displayed commanding play and assurance in hitting his tee shots, backed by smooth putting on the greens and this enabled him to collect the first Gross prize.
He was followed by Col Ayub of Garrison Club who also played outstanding golf but had to be content with the runner-up spot.
