Squash juniors advance into third round of US Junior Open 2019
Six players from Pakistan advanced into the third round of 5th edition of CMS Borneo Junior Open Squash Championship which is being held at Phillips Academy, Andover, Boston, USA.

Humam Ahmed, who won silver medal in the US Open Junior Squash Championship 2018, won against Oliver Dunbar with the wide score line of 11-7, 11-5, 11-3 and booked berth into the third round of under-15 category.
In the same category, Saboor Khan overpowered Nathan Cukierman of USA 11-7, 8-11, 11-13, 11-4, 11-4. Sixth seed Huzaifa Ibrahim thrashed Faazil Khan of Canada 11-5, 11-4, 11-6.
In the second round of under-17 category, top seed Haris Qasim beat Syan Singh of Canada 11-5, 11-6, 11-2 and Huzaifa Zahid defeated Diego Ivan 10-12, 11-2, 11-6, 11-5.
Khushal Riaz Khan, representing the national flag career PIA, overpowered Gonzalo De La Mora of US 7-11, 11-9, 11-9, 8-11, 11-6 but Abbas Nawaz was defeated by Davis Beeson of US 11-13, 15-13, 8-11, 11-9, 4-11.
In the first round of under-19 category, Abdul Moiez lost to Ignacio Ugarte 7-11, 11-13, 9-11 and Ahmad Hassan was beaten by Jason Sano Herring 8-11, 10-12, 5-11. Saqib Iqbal was overpowered by Joaquin Garcia 10-12, 11-9, 11-8, 8-11, 4-11 and Shahab Khan retired against Rodrigo Parra.
In the second round of under-13 category, Shehryar Saleem was beaten by Arham Izhar of Canada 1-11, 4-11, 2-11.
The tournament is being held from 14-17th December.
