Third ICC Women's Championship match between Pakistan and England washed out

Constant rain resulted in the abandonment of the third and final one day international between Pakistan and England's women teams at Kinrara Oval cricket ground, Kuala Lumpur.

Third one day international of ICC Women's Championship between Pakistan and England ended in a no contest due to constant rain at Kinrara Oval cricket ground, Kuala lumpur.

Pakistan women's team, batting first, scored 145 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 37.4 overs before rain interrupted play and the match was called off after no improvement in the weather conditions. 

Earlier, England won the toss for the third consecutive game but unlike the last two times, decided to bowl first.

Pakistan, having lost the series already, handed debut to right handed batter Kaynat Hafeez.

The green team enjoyed a brilliant start as Javeria Khan and Nahida Khan effortlessly scored 96 runs for the first wicket.

Javeria Khan became Sarah Glenn's first of 4 eventual wickets, as she was trapped LBW by the leg spinner on 37.

The first wicket brought on a sudden batting collapse as Pakistan could not string a meaningful partnership together.

Nahida Khan was the second wicket to fall in the mirror copy of the first wicket. She fell LBW to Sarah Glenn on 55.

Captain Bismah Maroof and debutant Kaynat Hafeez were out soon after having score 7 and 4 runs respectively.

Anya Shrubsole then sent back Aliya Riaz, Sidra Nawaz and Diana Baig in quick succession to leave Pakistan reeling at 145-8 before rain interrupted the proceedings. 

Umaima Sohail was unbeaten on 27 at that moment. 

For England, Sarah Glenn picked up picked up four wicket for 18 while Anya Shrubsole finished with three wickets for 32 runs.

The weather never improved after the initial rainfall and the match was called off

England women's team won the three match series 2-0.
