Karachi collects 6 golds and 1 silver to win All Sindh Allama Iqbal Boxing Tournament 2019

Sindh Sports Board (SSB) organized the All Sindh Allama Iqbal Boxing Tournament 2019 which successfully concluded at Ustad Ali Muhammad Qambrani Boxing Stadium (MABC) in Karachi.

All Sindh Allama Iqbal Boxing Tournament 2019 was organized by Sindh Sports Board (SSB) in co-operation with Sindh Boxing Association (SBA) where boxers from six districts including: Karachi, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad and Hyderabad, competed against each other so as to secure top position of the event. 

The said championship was held at Ustad Ali Muhammad Qambrani Boxing Stadium (MABC) in Karachi where the fights were contested in men's seniors and Juniors classes where team Karachi clinched 6 golds and a silver to earn the top spot. They were followed by Mirpur Khas team on the second position who managed to win a solitary gold and silver each.

General Manger KPT Sports Department, Col. Bashir Alam officially inaugurated the event alongside Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs, Imtiaz Ali Shah, who at the concluding ceremony awarded the high achievers with several prizes. 

Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs, Imtiaz Ali Shah shared his view that,
"Lyari has immense boxing talent but there needs to have several appropriate platforms where they can show their true talent."
