Haris, Qurat-ul-Ain & Areeb win Archery titles at 1st Mini Olympics Sports Festival
The Archery event of the 2019 Mini Olympics Sports Festival successfully concluded with several students earning titles in their respective categories in Karachi.
The inaugural Mini Olympics Festival has been organized by Olympian Iftikhar Syed Sports Academy (OISSA) under the aegis of DMC East that is holding competitions in a total of 17 different sports which include: Hockey, Football, Gymnastics, Table Tennis, Basketball, Futsal, Skating, Wrestling, Archery, Arm Wrestling, Tug of War, Taekwondo, Shootingball and Fencing.
Among several sports, the Archery event concluded with Haris Naeem, Qurat Ul Ain and Areeb clinching gold medals in Open category competition of 30 Meter contests and they were followed by Ahsan Zaman, S. Fizza Faisal and Rashid on the runner spots who settled for silver medals. While Hussain, Faheela and Moiz managed to grab the third position by bagging the bronze medals.
In 18 Meters Girls competitions, Alina, Asifa and Areeba took the first three spots respectively while in 10 Meters contests, Aiman, Sadiq and Feroz earned gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
