Peshawar-born Umair Arif continued his good show at 13th edition of KL Junior Open Squash Championships and made it through to the semifinals being played at National Squash Center, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Peshawar-born Umair Arif continued his good show at 13th edition of KL Junior Open Squash Championships and made it through to the semifinals of under-11 category.
Unseeded Umair ousted Khailash Ravi Kumar of Malaysia in the last-eight stage with the score of 11-7, 10-12, 11-8, 11-4. Now, Muhammad Umair Arif will meet second seed Sim Yeak Wei of Malaysia on 7th December.
Earlier, in the pre-quarterfinal, Umair defeated Ethan Ming-Rui Kuan of Singapore 11-8, 11-2, 11-3.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Arshad Iqbal Burki lost in the first round of $12,000 Securian Squash Open in Minnesota, US, on Thursday. Fifth seed Juan Camilo Vargas of Columbia defeated Arshad 11-6, 11-3, 11-2 in 20 minutes.
