Muhammad Naeem & Uzair Rehman win Golds at South Asian Games 2019

Pakistani athletes continued their impressive run in the ongoing 13th South Asian Games (SAG) in Nepal as they ended day four by winning 9 gold, 18 silver and 18 bronze medals.

 

Pakistani athletes continued their impressive run in the ongoing 13th South Asian Games (SAG) in Nepal as they ended day four of the tournament by winning 9 gold, 18 silver and 18 bronze medals.

Muhammad Naeem won Gold Medal for Pakistan in 110 meter Hurdles with the time of 0:14.30 in ongoing 13th South Asian Games 2019.

Likewise, Uzair Rehman earned gold medal in 200m men race by clocking the distance in 21:15 seconds. Meanwhile, Srilankan Vinoj Suryana and Maldivian Sahid Hassan won Silver and Bronze by achieving the distance in 21:19 and 21:22 seconds in that order.

In Under 200 meter women’s race, Archana Surinth completed the distance in 23:66 seconds and secured the gold medal. The Silver and Bronze medal winners for the same category are Najma Perveen of Pakistan and Chandra Lekhayen of India. The  runners finished with times of 23.63 and 24.27 seconds to win silver and bronze respectively.

Gold medal under Men’s discus throw has been won by Krishna Sing of India. Likewise, Gagandip Singh and Sams Ullahak of Pakistan won silver and the bronze medal. Krishna Singh covered 57.81 meter of distance while Gagan Singh covered 53.57 meter.
