Pakistan Taekwondo squad collects 2 more silver & 2 bronze at South Asian Games 2019
In Taekwondo event of 13th South Asian Games Pakistan added two more silver and two bronze medals to their tally in SAG 2019 being held in Kathmandu, Nepal.
South Asian Games 2019 Kathmandu and PokharaThe Pakistani Taekwondo squad is not coming slow as they keep on increasing the number of medals won in the 13th South Asian Games. On the third day of their competitions, talented Taekwondo athletes of Pakistan displayed exceptional skills to earn two more silvers and two bronze medals.
The silvers came through
Syed Waqar Shah, who featured in -87 KG weight class and Aneela in 53 KG while Mehmood (63 KG) and Soyia Sabir (-62 KG) took bronze medal wins.
Total 12 fighters from Pakistan are participating in Taekwondo event of these Games which namely are: Mehrun Nisa, Shabaz Ahmed, Mohammad Mumtaz, Asifa Ali, Muhammad Waseem Javed, Syeda Aleena Batool, Sophiya Nayab Baig, Phool Zaheer, Iqra Zaheer, Muhammad Anas, Wajeeh Ul Hassar and Muhammad Hizer Khan.
