Another edition of Pakistan National Rated Chess Championship on the way
Call for talented chess players to take part in the 13th edition of Pakistan National Rated Chess Championship which is scheduled to be held on 8th December at PSB Coaching Center in Lahore.
Chess Association of Punjab (CAP) and Pakistan Chess Club (PCC) in collaboration with Chess Federation of Pakistan are jointly, organizing another mega chess event, into the current year, which has officially been named as Pakistan National Rated Chess Championship. It is set to be held on 8th December at PSB Coaching Center in Lahore.
Chess Association of Punjab (CAP) will gladly host this event that will have competitions in both male and female categories where there will be six total rounds with time control of 15+10. The competitions will begin at 11:00 AM sharp.
Those who wish to try their luck at this event are to register at 0321-4071658 (Joint Secretary Chess Association of Punjab (CAP), Mr Muhammad Shafiq) with an Entry fee of Rupees 500 only.
This mega event is offering several cash prizes for the top 10 position holders among which the title winner will be awarded with a cash prize of Rupees 3,000 while the runner up will get 2,000 Rupees. The third position holder will bag Rupees 1,000 worth of cash prize. 4th and 5th postilion grabbers will be getting 700 and 800 Rupees, respectively while 6th to 10th position takers will be getting 500 Rupees.
