Shahzadi Gulfam triumphs to top spot at 1st Gymkhana Ladies Golf Competition
The Gymkhana Ladies Golf Competition 2019 successfully wrapped up at the lush green golf course of Lahore Gymkhana where Shahzadi Gulfam took the title victory home.
Many passionate amateur lady golfers turned up for the first ever Gymkhana Ladies Golf Match that was held over 18 holes at the historic golf course of Lahore Gymkhana.
Shahzadi Gulfam took the first position in Net category with an applaudable score of net 72 and she was followed on the runner up spot by Mina Zainab while Rabia Tiwana managed to grab on the third spot and Laiba Ali Shah settled for the fourth position.
With accurate tee shots, former national ladies champion of Pakistan, Ghazala Yasmin compiled a winning score of gross 81 to take home the title victory of Gross category while Iman Ali Shah, Shahnaz Moin and Momina Tarrar secured second, third and fourth spots, respectively.
Mrs Kamran Lashari, wife of Chairman Lahore Gymkhana along with Lady Captain of Lahore Gymkhana, Maimoona Azam were the honorable chief guests on the occasion, who at the end, awarded prizes to the high achievers of the event.
Lady Captain of Lahore Gymkhana, Maimoona Azam was of the view that,
“It is my proud privilege to conduct the inaugural Ladies Match at the Gymkhana Golf Course and the heartening aspect is that this match will be followed by other matches at other golf course venues, making it a regular affair.”
