Reliance FC grabs Total Football Winter Tournament 2019 title
Among 24 participating teams, Reliance FC triumphed over their opponents to win the title of the 2019 Total Football Winter Tournament which successfully concluded at Garrison Park in Peshawar.
The seven a side, Total Football Winter Tournament 2019 was another successful event organized by Total Football after the conclusion of Total Football Summer League 2019.
The above mentioned football bonanza was played at Garrison Park, Peshawar where a total of 24 teams were seen in action in during the matches, trying to prove their talent by battling it out for the right to be crowned champions of the league.
Out of several talented participating teams, Reliance FC and Akaheil FC made it to the grand finale of the tournament where it were the efforts from the boys of Reliance Football Club that guided them towards the title victory of this mega event.
The final was an equal affair with no team willing to accept defeat and neither allowing the other side to score for majority of the game and as the final whistle blew, the regulation time concluded in a goalless game.
A penalty shootout was then held to determine the winner team where after another neck and neck display, Reliance FC prevailed 3-2 over Akaheil FC to annex the title to their name.
An enchanting prize money of Rupees 12,000 PKR was awarded to the title winners while the runner ups bagged 5,000 PKR.
Total Football aims to promote the spirit of football and sportsmanship for which it arranged yet another healthy and athletic competition.
