Reassuring Ushna Suhail & Aqeel Khan lift EBM Pakistan Open Tennis Championships 2019

Top-notch tennis players Aqeel Khan and Ushna Suhail claimed the men’s and women’s titles of the fourth EBM Pakistan Open Tennis Championships at the Punjab Lawn Tennis Association courts, Lahore.

Top-notch tennis players Aqeel Khan and Ushna Suhail claimed the men’s and women’s titles of the fourth EBM Pakistan Open Tennis Championships at the Punjab Lawn Tennis Association courts, Lahore. 

The 39-year-old Aqeel used all his experience in outplaying upcoming Muzammil Murtaza by 2-0 in the final lasting just 40 minutes. Both the players were tied at 2-2 in the first set but later veteran Aqeel went ahead to win the set amid fog and cold weather. Aqeel then bagged the second set to claim the title.

The final score line was 6-4, 6-4.

Ushna, 26, struggled in her effort to overcome Sarah Mansoor, another seasoned player, in the women’s final. Ushna was stretched to the fullest by her opponent before the former completed a 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 victory in around an hour.
