Huzaifa claws out victory to reach semis of EBM All-Pakistan Open Tennis Championships 2019
Unseeded Huzaifa Abdul Rehman kept his hopes alive as he played fantastic tennis against eighth seeded Ahmed Chaudhry to claw out a 2-0 victory in EBM All-Pakistan Open Tennis Championships being played at PLTA courts in Bagh-i-Jinnah courts, Lahore.
On the fourth day at PLTA courts in Bagh-i-Jinnah courts Lahore, the quarterfinals of the fourth edition of EBM All-Pakistan Open Tennis Championships were decided in all the categories.
Unseeded Huzaifa Abdul Rehman kept his hopes alive as he played fantastic tennis against eighth seeded Ahmed Chaudhry to claw out a 2-0 victory and coasted his way towards semifinal of the event.
16-year-old Huzaifa dominated the match from the start and put his superior opponent under pressure after conceding just two games, he won the first set 6-2. Huzaifa had to face tough resistance in the second set, where both the players fought till the end and Huzaifa managed to win the set 7-5, thus booking his berth in the semifinals.
