Ahmed Mujtaba's fight against Rahul Raju called off yet again
The fight which was to take place today between Ahmed “The Wolverine” Mujtaba of Pakistan and Rahul “The Kerala Krusher” Raju from India at ONE Championship: Edge of Greatness has been called off once again.
Pakistani MMA fighter, Ahmed Mujatab's biggest fight of his carrier against Rahul Raju of India has been called off yet again due his Singapore visa getting rejected. "The Wolverine" was supposed to have the biggest fight of his career against India's Rahul Raju in Singapore at ONE Championship: Edge Of Greatness but unfortunately will not be featuring in the event once again.
After such hard work at his training, MYGYM athlete, Ahmed Mujtaba was left gutted hearing his visa was rejected. Ahmed made an announcement on his official Facebook page informing his fans about the rejection.
"I have to share a very important news, I came to know that my visa for Singapore is rejected and I transferred the details details regarding the visa issue and everything. It isn't the first time. I had the same fight back in February against India. Even when I have been to Singapore twice! I don't know what is happening. What good is there in this delay by Allah. You know I have trained very hard for this fight and my sponsors and my gym they've put a lot of effort, my teammates, Infinity MMA, my family, it's not a one man show. I don't know why this is happening to all Pakistani fighters (...) It's hard to believe because I have trained hard and I am super ready, I have made weight, I mean the best shape of my life. I have requested the ONE Championship to give me a fight in the December card, which is happening on 6th December in Kula Lumpur so hopefully it's easier to get a visa for Malaysia rather than Singapore. Insh'Allah Insh'Allah I'll be back an will fight on 6th December..."
