Khyber Pakhtunkhwa inflict innings defeat on Balochistan in QeA Trophy 2019/20 round 2

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bowled out Balochistan for the second time in two days to win their eighth round Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2019/20 fixture at UBL sports complex, Karachi.

It took Khyber Pakhtunkhwa less than two sessions of just the third day to bowl out Balochistan for the second time in two days at UBL Sports Complex, Karachi to win their eighth round fixture of the tournament.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa decided to enforce the follow-on on the third day with Balochistan still needing 239 runs to erase the first innings deficit.

But it became abundantly clear that the task would be virtually impossible as Junaid Khan removed Azeem Ghuman on the very first ball of the second innings.

Junaid and Usman Shinwari, who shared seven wickets between them in the first innings, decimated Balochistan's batting line up once again as they soon found themselves three down for 15 runs.

It was at that moment that the rest of the bowling lineup decided to join the party leaving Balochistan searching for answers at six for 49. Bismillah and Jalat Khan resisted the onslaught for a while and helped Balochistan cross the hundred run mark without further loss.

The task at hand was still improbable and after the two departed, having scored 40 and 22 runs respectively, the rest of the batting lineup followed getting all out for 117 to concede the match.
