Ashar Mir won the title of Commissioner Karachi ATF 14 & Under Super Series Tennis Championships (Leg 1) at Karachi Gymkhana.
Shamsi Tennis Academy under the auspices of Pakistan Tennis Federation and Sindh Tennis Association organized the Commissioner Karachi Division ATF 14 & Under Super Series Tennis Championship Leg-1 which successfully wrapped up at the Karachi Gymkhana.
Pakistan’s Ashar Mir won the title of boys’ singles category of Commissioner Karachi ATF 14 & Under Super Series Tennis Championships (Leg 1).
In the finals of boys’ singles category, Ashar overpowered wildcard entrant Taha Aman 6-2, 4-6, 6-0.
Nadir Mirza, a wildcard entrant from the US, defeated Zain Ehtisham 6-4, 6-3 to take the third position.
In the final of doubles category, Taha and Ashar beat Zain Ehtisham and Ahmed Nael with the final score line of 6-2, 6-1.
Earlier, Zainab Ali of Pakistan outshone Varsha Das in a competitive contest by 2-0 to claim the Girls singles title with the final score line of 7-5, 6-4.
In all Pakistani girls doubles's affair, Varisha Khan
& Zainab Ali Naqvi defeated pair of Varsha Das
& Natalia Zaman by 2-1 with the final score line of 1-6, 6-4, 10-8.
The events contested in the championships include Boys under-14 Singles, Girls U-14 singles, Boys U-14 Doubles and Girls U-14 Doubles.
