19th FFC Invitational Sona Golf Tournament wraps up successfully
The 2019 FFC Invitational Sona Golf Tournament successfully concluded with FFC Red Golf Club's title victory at the Golf Course Goth Machi near Sadiqabad, Rahim Yaar Khan.
The 19th edition of FFC Invitational Sona Invitational Golf Tournament was played for two days over the past weekend at the Golf Course Goth Machi near Sadiqabad where as many as one hundred golfer of nine different golf clubs and teams competed with all their skills to win the ultimate title of this event.
Participating clubs included: Garrison Golf Club Lahore, Multan Golf Club Multan, Sunset Golf Club Bahawalpur, Mehran Golf Club Pannu Aqil Cant, Sona Golf Club Goth Machi and teams of Fauji Fertilizer Company Mirpur Mathelo, Fatima Fertilizer Company Rahim Yar Khan and Kepco.
Total six category competitions were held on 36 holes in this prestigious golf event which included: Amateur, Men, Women, Professional, Children and Veterans. Three foreigners, Lee Ki Duk, Chae Hyeong Kug and Anttan Ke Um also competed among several other Pakistani golfers.
Resident Manager Fauji Fertilizer Company, Brigadier Retd Abdul Wahid Ali Khan graced the event where the team of FFC Red Golf Club took home the title victory of 19th FFC Invitational Sona Golf Tournament with a net aggregate of 412.
The winners were followed by FFC Green Golf Club with a net score of 447.
The FFC Red Golf Club team comprised of Abbas Shakir, Shehzad Ahmed, Tariq Sajjad and Asad Hameed.

In Handicap categories, Lt Col Mohsin succeeded in Nearest to Pin while retired Lt Col retired Ejaz Farooqi earned the Longest Drive title whereas Shehzad Ahmed won the Maximum Pars and Maaz Warriach the Maximum Birdies.
