Qasim Ali Khan lifts 36th Millat Tractors Governors Cup Golf Tournament trophy

Lahore Gymkhana's Qasim Ali Khan won the title of Millat Tractors Governors Cup Golf Tournament 2019 which successfully concluded at the lush green golf course of Lahore Gymkhana.

With a three rounds aggregate score of 213 on the final 18th hole, Qasim Ali Khan of Lahore Gymkhana earned the title of 36th Millat Tractors Governors Cup Golf Tournament which wrapped up successfully at the lush green golf course of Lahore Gymkhana.

He was followed by Omer Zia on the runner up spot with an aggregate score 214, one stroke behind the champion. However, Rizwan with the same aggregate score settled for the third position because of Omer's better score in the final on 18 holes.

Hussain Hamid of Royal Palm, Zunair Aleem Khan from Raya and Gymkhana's Kamran Khan secured first three spots with their scores of 232, 234 and 237 in Gross category, respectively. 

While the Junior category, Sher Ali Khan took the 2nd gross title whereas Adam Khan earned the title of 1st gross. Tayyab Tahir caught the 2nd net title and Ahmed triumphed to take up the 1st net title.

Tehmina Ahmad took home the title victory of 1st gross in Ladies class and she was followed by Shahzadi Gulfam and Mamoona Azam settled for the 3rd position. Momina Tarar, Minaa Zainab and Momina Tarar collected firs, second and third Net titles, respectively.

Veterans category winners stood, Akhtar Hayat (1st gross), Karamat Ullah Chaudry (2nd gross) and Shaghil Hussain (3rd gross) while in Net class,  Ejaz Malik 1st net, Maj UD Najmi (2nd net) and Dr Lateef Ch (3rd net).

2nd: Dr Jawad Sajjid Khan
3rd: Omar Khan

Governor Punjab, Chaudry Muhammed Sarwar was the honorable chief guest along with Chairman Millat Tractors, Sikandar Mustafa Khan, Lahore Gymkhana Chairman, Kamran Lashari, Convenor Golf, Shaukat Javed, who distributed several cash prizes among the high achievers of the event. 

This event marks the 36th successfully edition of Millat Tractors Governors Cup Golf Tournament that featured competitions for amateurs, seniors, veterans, ladies and junior golfers where as many as 150 amateurs, 91 seniors, 60 veterans, 24 ladies and 08 juniors competed in this prestigious golf tournament.
