Zainab Ali outshone Varsha Das in a competitive contest by 2-0 to claim the Girls singles title with the final score line of 7-5, 6-4.
Ashar Mir, Zain Ehtisham and Taha Aman of Pakistan and wildcard entrant Nadir Mirza of USA strolled into the semi-finals of boys’ under-14 singles event.
In the quarter-finals, Ashar defeated Ahmed Nael 6-4, 6-1, Zain thrashed wildcard Rayan Ahmed 6-0, 6-0, while Taha hammered Yousuf Haleem 6-2, 6-0.
Wildcard Nadir Mirza of USA smashed Kashan Tariq 6-1, 6-0. Ashar will now face Zain and Nadir will be up against Taha in the semifinal of Boys singles Uner-14 category.
The Boys double’s quarterfinal will be seen today(13th Nov) between the pairs of Ibrahim Sajjad & Syed Raahim Bin Veqar and Muhammad Yousuf Haleem & Ibrahim Noman Yousuf of USA.
Girls double’s final lined up between Pakistani pair of Varsha Das & Natalia Zaman and Varisha Khan & Zainab Ali Naqvi.
