Alpha School & College Sports Festival 2019: 9th day results
Students from all over Karachi are participating in 10 sporting events which are being competed in the 2019 Alpha School & College Sports Festival in Karachi.
On day nine of Alpha School and College Sports Festival 2019, semi-finals matches of two different sports were played: Basketball and Futsal, in both, U-17 and U-19 age categories along with knock-out cricket tournament's semi-finals at IBA Cricket ground.
Following are the results of day 9:
- Under 17 Event Basketball: BOYS
• Semi-Final#1: Generations School V/S British Overseas School – Generations School won the match by (20-16)
• Semi-Final#2: Habib Public School V/S Happy Home School – Habib Public School won the match by (58-05)
• 3rd Position match: British Overseas School V/S Happy Home School – British Overseas won the match by (28-16) and secured third position in U-17 basketball boys’ category.
- Under 19 Event Futsal: BOYS
• Semi-Final#1: Commecs College V/S Highbrow College – Commecs College won the match on penalties by (5-4)
• Semi-Final#2: Alpha College V/S Bahria College-Karsaz – Bahria College-Karsaz won the match by (1-2)
- Under 19 Event Futsal: GIRLS
• Semi-Final#1: Alpha College V/S Reads College – Reads College won the match by (0-1) in extra time
• Semi-Final#2: The Lyceum School V/S Generations School – Generations School won the match by (0-2)
• 3rd Position match: The Lyceum School V/S Alpha College – The Lyceum School won the match on penalties by (3-0)
- Under 17 Event Basketball: GIRLS
• Final Match:British Overseas School V/S Generations School – British Overseas School won the match by (11-02)
- Under 19 Event Basketball: BOYS
• Semi-Final#1: Alpha College V/S Nixor College – Nixor College won the match by (31-34)
• Semi-Final#2: Credo College V/S Generations School – Generations School won the match by (42-45)
- Under 17 Event Futsal: BOYS
• Semi-Final#1: BVS-Parsi High SchoolV/S Credo School – BVS-Parsi High School won the match (1-0)
• Semi-Final#2: Veritas Schooling System V/S River Oaks School – Veritas Schooling System won the match by (9-1)
- Under 19 Event: Cricket
• 2nd Semi-Final: Hexis College V/SNixor College – Nixor College won the match by 57 runs. Nixor College- 144/3(10.0 OV), Hexis College- 87/7(10.0 OV).
- Under 17 Event: Cricket
• 2nd Semi-Final: Bay View High School V/S Karachi Public School – Karachi Public School won the match by 7 wickets. Bay View High School- 112/2 (10.0 OV), Karachi Public School- 116/3 (9.3 OV).
