Commissioner Karachi ATF U-14 Tennis Championship begins today
The Commissioner Karachi ATF U-14 tennis championship will commence today at the Karachi Gymkhana.
Prominent junior players of the country will participate in the six-day event which will be jointly staged by Shamsi Tennis Academy and Pakistan Tennis Federation.
The events, including boys under-14 and girls under-14 singles and doubles, will be contested in the championship.
Pakistan’s Ashar Mir will be the top seed of the tournament.
The organisers have offered special thanks to DC South Syed Salahuddin, President Karachi Gymkhana Fawad Saleem Malik, AC Civil Lines Fatima Bashir and KMC deputy director information Mohammad Arshad for their arrangements and cooperation in holding the tournament.
Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shallwani met chief organiser Khalid Shamsi and coordinator Ghulam Mohammad where they assured the cooperation for the prestigious event and best security for the participating players. Both the officials briefed the commissioner of the details of the tournament.
