The semi final lineups of the doubles events of Yonex Sunrise Paksitan International Series 2019 have been competed with 6 Pakistani pairs making it to the penultimate stage in the championships being held at Rodham Hall, Islamabad.
The semi final line ups of Yonex Sunrise Pakistan International Series 2019 have been completed for the doubles events with six Pakistani pairs making it to the penultimate stage of the tournament.
Two pairs each from Pakistan made it to Men's doubles, Women's doubles and mixed doubles semifinals of the tournament on Friday.
Men's Doubles:
In men's doubles, Muhammad Atiq and Raja Muhammad Hasnain defeated compatriots Raja Muhammad Zulqarnain Haider and Awais Zahid 14-21, 21-14, 21-17 to get to the semifinals whereas Muhammad Ifran Saeed Bhatti and Azeem Sarwar defeated Murad Ali and Hashir Bashir 21-15, 21-12 to book a spot in the semifinal.

Women's Doubles:
In women's doubles quarter finals Sehra Akram and Huma Javeed booked a place in the semifinals by beating compatriots Rida Hanif and Rubab Imtiaz comfortably 21-11, 21-12. The second pair from Pakistan to reach the women's doubles semifinal was Bushra Qayyum and Mahoor Shahzad who beat Zubaira Butt and Anila Irshad 22-20, 21-7.
