Pakistan Women's Team to feature in 2nd Asian Baseball Championship
Pakistan Women’s Baseball Team has left for China to participate in Asian Women’s Baseball Championship 2019 which will begin from 9th November in Zhongshan, China.
According to the information provided by Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB) President, Syed Fakhr Ali Shah, a 17 member Women squad will be participating in the upcoming Asian Women’s Baseball Championship 2019 that will be held from 9 to 16 November in Zhongshan, China.
The said international event will feature teams from China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines and India. The participating teams are divided into two groups among which the Group A includes: Japan, China, India and Pakistan while Group B includes: Taiwan, Korea, Hong and Philippines.
Pakistan will be up against the hosts, China in their first game on 9th November and will then take on a strong Japanese team, in their second game the next day. Pakistan's third match will be against the arch-rivals, India on the 11th November.

The National Women Baseball Team met the Chief Guest, Sports Board Punjab (SBP) Vice Chairman, Rao Zahid Qayyum along with PFB President, Team Leader, Muhammad Hamood Lakhvi, Team Manager, Mrs Hummera Kamran, Team Coaches, Tariq Nadeem and Ahsan Farid, President and Founder of Global Sports Partners, Steve De Vos and Representative, Josh Germany, before the team left for China.
