PBF names 5-member squad for South Asian Games 2019
Pakistan Badminton Federation has named the squad for XIII South Asian Games which are slated to be held from 1–10 December in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal.

Following are the selected squad:
• Murad Ali
• Awais Zahid
• Raja Husnain
• Muqeet Tahir
• Attique Ch
The XIII South Asian Games, is a major multi-sport event which were originally slated to be held from 9 to 18 March 2019 in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal. However, the dates were postponed and the event will now be held from 1–10 December.
Currently eight countries are eligible to take part in the event first held at Kathmandu in 1984. They are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
A total of 27 sports are due to be on the programme, including traditional South Asian events such as kabaddi and kho-kho along with Olympic sports such as athletics, swimming and weightlifting.
