Quetta grabs 10 Gold medals to win 15th All Balochistan JKA Karate Championship
The 2019 All Balochistan JKA Karate Championship successfully concluded with Quetta district grabbing 10 Gold medals to earn the title at Tajai Sports Complex, Jinnah Sports Stadium in Islamabad.
Japan Karate Association (JKA) Baluchistan in collaboration with Mishal Youth Society, jointly organized the 15th successful edition of All Balochistan JKA Karate Championship, into the current year which successfully wrapped up at Tajai Sports Complex of Jinnah Sports Stadium in Islamabad.
A significant number of districts fielded their players to showcase their skills in the fights to earn laurels in their respective categories among which Quetta district stood atop as no other team could match up to the skills of their fighters.
20 total medals were collected by the players of the winning district among which 10 were Gold, 4 silver and 6 Bronze as well. They were followed by Pishin District with 3 Gold, 5 Silver and 5 Bronze medals on the runner up position while Zhob District settled for the 3rd position accumulating 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 4 Bronze medals.
Home Minister of Baluchistan, Mir Zia Ullah Langove was the honorable chief guest who witnessed the final competitions being contested and later gave away medals and certificates to the high achievers of the event.
Durra Baloch, Director General Baluchistan, Sports Department, Muhammad Kashif, Grand Master, Shoukat Ali Changezi, Saleem Shakir, President Mashal Youth Society, Mehmood Hussain Changezi, Ex-Secretary General, Balochistan Karate Association and other officials were also present at the occasion.
