Top seeds Aisam ul Haq & Matwe Middelkoop equip for Peugeot Slovak Open 2019

Pakistan's tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi will play the last tournament of the 2019, alongside his partner Matwe Middelkoop from the Netherlands as the top seeds of men's doubles category in Peugeot Slovak Open 2019.

Pakistan's tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi will play the last tournament of the year 2019, alongside his partner Matwe Middelkoop from the Netherlands, as the top seeded pair of men's doubles category in Peugeot Slovak Open 2019.

Pak-Netherlands pair, ranked 52nd and 30th respectively, are drawn up against unseeded duo of Jamie Cerretani from the US and Tristan-Samuel Weissborn from Austria in the first round. This ATP Challenger 110 is to be played on hard surface at Bratislava, Slovakia, from Monday (today).

Matwe Middelkoop is a professional Dutch tennis player. He is a doubles specialist who reached his career-high doubles ranking of world No. 30 on 27 August 2018. At the 2016 Sofia Open, Middelkoop won his first doubles ATP title, partnering Wesley Koolhof.

The 20th edition of the Slovak Open carries a handsome prize money of €114,800.

Slovak Open is currently part of the Tretorn Series of Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and ITF Women's Circuit. It is has been held at the Národné Tenisové Centrum in Bratislava, Slovakia, since 2000.
