Pakistan vs Australia: First T20 international ends in no contest due to persistent rain
The first T20 international between Australia and Pakistan ended in a no contest due to persistent showers at Sydney cricket ground.

Pakistan will be the happier of the two sides as persistent rain washed out the first meeting between the two sides at Sydney cricket ground on Sunday.
Put into bat by Australian captain, Pakistan stumbled their way to 107 in their 15 over after constant rain interruptions.
Babar Azam, captaining the side for the first time, hit a 59 not out with Mohammad Rizwan the other batsman to add meaningful score to the total with 31.
Fakhar Zaman was out the very fist ball he faced in the first over while Haris Sohail hit a boundary before skying a shot to Steve Smith in the second over.
Asif Ali, Imad Wasim and Iftikhar Ahmed were the other batsmen on the crease but did not contribute much to the total.
Australia needed 119 from their 15 overs to win the contest.
With the rain on the horizon, Australian openers David Warner and Aaron Finch were aggressive from the get go. Finch hit Mohammad Irfan all over the park in his second over taking 26 runs from the over.
Australia were well set with 41 runs in 3.1 overs when rain returned and the match was called off.
Pakistan will feel lucky to have escaped the contest with series still at 0-0.
The next game will be played on 5th November in Canberra.
