Judo competitions to finally be contested in 33rd National Games

Judo competitions will finally be contested in the upcoming National Games 2019 as Pakistan Olympics Association (POA) General Council has formed a management committee for judo events.

The initial list of the games to be competed in the upcoming 33rd National Games, which will be held from 10th to 16th November in Peshawar, did not include football, Judo, Athletics and Cycling but finally a management committee has been formed by Pakistan Olympics Association (POA) General Council for judo events. 

The formed committee will supervise all of the affairs related to judo competitions including decision of the venue, appointment of technical officials such as: judges, referees, umpires and supervisors. 

Syed Wasim Ud Din Hashmi would lead the management committee as the Chairman, who will have the powers to take decisions in accordance with judo rules and regulations while Zulfiqar Ali Butt, Ehtisham Ul Haq, Maqsood Ahmed, Basheer Ahmed Babai and Naeem Jan are members of the committee including Masood Ahmed as the Organizing Secretary.
