Asia-Pacific Baseball Director, Takeharu Nasu arrives in Pakistan
PONY Baseball International’s Japan-based Asia-Pacific Baseball Director, Takeharu Nasu, arrived in Pakistan to promote PONY baseball for the teenagers, in the country.
PONY Baseball International's Japan-based Asia-Pacific Baseball Director, Mr Takeharu Nasu arrived in Pakistan.
He was warmly welcomed by the President of Pakistan Federation Baseball, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah along with other officials and provincial members: Ramzan Kasuri, Fakhr Amir Kazmi, Dr. Shaheen Galraiz, Rao Asif Jabbar, International Baseball Umpires, Mudassar and Umar Hayat, International Baseball Player, Ghulam Hussain and Qamar Khan Lodhi of Baseball Management and was presented with floral gifts with a message of love on behalf of Pakistan Baseball at Islamabad Airport.
The Japanese Director praised the love he received by Pakistan saying,
"I will never forget the love I have received. I am impressed by Syed Fakhr Ali Shah's initiatives to promote baseball, especially youth baseball in Pakistan, and my goal is to accelerate this process of promotion."
The guests with Federation President met Mr. Akbar Hussain Durrani, Federal Secretary for the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) where a meeting discussed the development of baseball in Pakistan. Akbar Hussain Durrani told the guests that the Government of Pakistan is doing everything possible to support the Federation for promoting baseball in the country and will do so in the future as well.
Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, President Pakistan Federation Baseball informed that today the two Japanese officials will visit Yar Hussain Baseball Academy in Swabi where they will review the training provided to the players. In addition, the baseball training administered by the Islamabad Baseball Association will be reviewed.
