The pair of Aisam and Santiago, ranked 52nd and 61st, gave a convincing performance again as they toppled the pair of Marcel Granollers of Spain & world #3 Horacio Zeballos of Argentina with the final score line of 6-4, 7-6(3) in the quarterfinal of 50th edition of Swiss Indoors Basel.
Earlier, Pak-Mexican duo easily defeated the pair of Albert Ramos-Vinolas from Spain and Dusan Lajovic from Serbia 6-3, 6-4 in the first round of men’s doubles category.
Now, Aisam & Santiago are up against world #31 ranked Taylor Fritz and world #37 ranked Reilly Opelka in the semifinal of €2,082,655 Swiss Indoors Basel.
