In the opening encounter Pakistan overpowered Saudi Arabia 3-0 while in the subsequent encounter lost to across the border rivals India 3-0 in 2019 ITTF Junior Circuit Premium, Oman Junior & Cadet Open at Sultan Qaboos Sport Complex, Muscat, Oman.
More than 120 players from 20 countries are participating in the tournament. All the participants are competing in different categories including hopes (U-12), cadet (U-14) and junior (U-16) in individual and teams events.
Players from Britain, Greece, France, India, Iran, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Sweden, the UAE and the Sultanate are featuring in the tournament.
