Box Cricket Tournament Season 1 to take place this weekend
Box Cricket will hold its inaugural one of kind indoor cricket tournament that will take place from 26th to 27th of October 2019 at E-11 Islamabad.
Box Cricket Tournament Season 1 Powered by Islamabad Taste is the first of its kind box cricket tournament and will take place over the weekend on 26th and 27th of October 2019.
The tournament will take place at Box Sports located at Main Margalla Road, E11.
Following are the details and the rules of the event:
The tournament offers a huge 50,000 rupees prize money for the grand winners against the entry fee of 3,500 rupees per team. The runner ups will be rewarded with 2 free slots at Box Cricket, E-11 while the Best player of the tournament will pocket 5000 PKR.

Tournament Rules:
The tournament will be played under strict rules that will be enforced by the Umpires whose decisions will be considered final and any argument can be cause for disqualification.
Each team will comprise of six players and two reserve players will be allowed. A Knockout Format will be followed. Each match will be of six overs and every bowler will have to bowl one over.
A batsman can be dismissed in the same ways they can be in conventional cricket.
Scoring Zones:
There will be three scoring zones for the batsmen to score their runs. Zone A (behind the keeper) 4 runs if the ball hits directly above the boundary line. Zone B (roof net): 2 runs will be awarded if the ball hits the roof directly. Zone C (behind the bowler) 4 runs if the ball goes on the bounce and six runs if the ball hits the net directly.
