Brilliant District East wins IG Sindh Inter-District Hockey League 2019
District East clinched the title of IG Sindh Inter-District Hockey League at the Olympian Hanif Khan-Dr Junaid Ali Shah Sports Complex, Karachi.

District East defeated District Central in a penalty shoot-out. While District East manged to score from all five of their efforts District Central could only manage 3 goals. Earlier the game ended at 2-2 to send the deciding match to penalty shootout.
Adnan Rao was named 'Player of the Tournament' while Aun Ali and Abu Bakar Bukhari were declared 'Best Goal-Keeper' and 'Top scorer' of the tournament respectively.
IG Syed Kaleem Imam graced the occasion as a Chief Guest of the final.
Olympian Hanif Khan, President and Secretary KHA, Dr Syed Junaid Ali Shah and Syed Haider Hussain were also present at the occasion.
It is worth mentioning here that the tournament was organised by Karachi Hockey Association (KHA) under the supervision of Pakistan Hockey Federation.
