Haris, Noor claim titles in National Junior Tennis

Haris Irfan-ul-Haq and Noor Malik won the boys’ and ladies’ titles in the Servis National Junior Ranking Tennis Championships which concluded at the Bagh-i-Jinnah courts here on Thursday.
In the Boys’ U-18 final, Haris proved too good against Asadullah as he wrapped up the final in just 25 minutes with a 6-1, 6-1 romp.
Noor, however, was stretched to the limit as she won 7-5, 7-5 against Shimza Tahir in 35 minutes.
Asad, meanwhile, avenged his defeat to Haris in the singles final when he teamed up with Barkatullah to win the boys’ doubles final 7-5, 4-6 against the singles champion and Mujahid Khan.
The U-14 title went to Hamza bin Rehan, who crafted a 6-4, 6-3 win against favourite Nalain Abbas.
Faizan Fayyaz emerged victor to lift the U-12 title, when he brushed aside Abdul Hanan Khan 8-6 in the one-set final.
Similarly, Azan Shahid notched up the U-10 title, carving out an 8-4 victory against Bilal Asim.
