South Korean golfer, Kim Joo Hyung earns Pakistan Open Golf Championship 2019 title
The 2019 Pakistan Open Golf Championship concluded successfully where a South Korean golfer Kim Joo Hyung took home the title victory at Defense Raya Golf Course in Lahore.
The Pakistan Open Golf Championship 2019 that also served as four days Asian Development Tour, concluded successfully which saw participation of around 20 foreign players from 10 countries, 85 home Professional golfers and 5 Amateurs.
Among the mentioned talented golfers,Kim Joo Hyung of South Korea stood tall with his splendid golfing skills as his victory came through scores of 66 in the first round, a flamboyant 64 in the second round, 68 in the third round and an effective 73 on the final day and his aggregate winning score then accumulated to 271, seventeen under par.
Kim was followed on the second position by renowned home golfer, Shabbir as his display of brilliance in the sport earned him round of 67 on the final day, which gave him a final notable aggregate of 280, eight under par.
Third slot in this championship went to Sam Lee of Fiji who managed an aggregate score of 281, seven under par.
Singapore's Choo Tze Huang managed to claim 4th spot, with a score of 283, five under par and Muhammad Munir of Pakistan along with USA's Samuel Cyr were bracketed at the 5th position. Their final score stood 285, three under par.
The Hole In One Car remained unclaimed although there was a Hole In One by Adil Jehangir of Pakistan but on a hole not marked for the Car award.
The winner, Mr Kim Joon Hyung collected US$14,000 worth of cash prize out of a total allocated cash of US$80,000 with the balance being distributed among the 51 other position holders in accordance with the Asia Tour Prize Distribution Policy. Moreover, he was honored by Commander 4 Corps Lahore, Lt Gen Majid Ehsan, who came personally to award the glittering trophy and winning cheque to him.
To this prestigious victory, Kim said,
“Pakistan has been rewarding for me and what makes the visit memorable is that I have won the National Champions title of Pakistan.”
