Aqeel & Irfan grab gold medals in Inter District Punjab Taekwondo Championship 2019
The 2019 Inter District Punjab Taekwondo Championship wrapped up successfully with Aqeel Sabir and Irfan Ijaz collecting gold medals in Gujranwala.
Gujranwala District Taekwondo Association organized the Inter District Punjab Taekwondo Championship into the current year in which as many as 160 players from a total of 12 districts of the country took part.
All the participating fighters in this mega championship were seen competing with all their skills to try and emerge victorious in their respective weight classes as the fights were held in several different weight categories.
Among the many talented participating fighters, Aqeel Sabir and Irfan Ijaz came out on top by beating their opponents to capture gold medals. They were followed by Abdullah and Atik Ali, both earning Silver medals for their efforts while the Bronze medals went to Ahsan Iqbal and Ansar Abbas, all from Team Kabirians.
