Sindh Police dominates 1st DG Coastguard Open Shooting Championship

The 1st DG Coastguard Open Shooting Championship 2019 finished magnificently at the Pakistan Coast Guard Training Center, Korangi.
More than 200 shooters associated with different forces including Pakistan Army, Pakistan Rangers, Pakistan Coastguard and Police participated in this event.
The Sindh Police won three out of the four trophies in the championship while Special Security Unit (SSU)'s Atif Sultan was awarded with best shooter of the event and SSU commander Abdullah Khan finished as the runner-up.
Likewise, in the Amateur category, Atif Sultan of SSU won the overall shooting competition while RRF Inspector Yamaat Bhatti won the runner-up trophy.
Apart from this, Atif Sultan also bagged the shield in the pistol shooting competition while Naveed Hussain took second position.
DG Pakistan Coastguard appreciated the efforts, skills and techniques of Sindh Police and also announced to setup latest shooting range with all facilities in Korangi Coastguard Training Center.
