Japanese & Korean golfers rule first day of Pakistan Open Golf Championship 2019

South Korea's Johyung Kim and Nari Gamma of Japan dominate the first round of the 2019 Pakistan Open Golf Championship which is being played at Defence Raya Golf Course in Lahore.

The Pakistan Open Golf Championship into the current year is being organised by Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) under the Asian Developments Tour where as many as 81 home golfers, 21 players from 10 different countries, five Amateurs and six Invites are taking part. 

This prestigious event is being played at the lush green course of Defence Raya Golf Club where the first round was contest yesterday in which it were the talented golfers from Korea and Japan that dominated the day namely: Johyung Kim and Nari Gamma, respectively - accumulating gross 66, six under par.

In face of intense challenge offered by 111 other ambitious hopefuls, Sweden's Oscar Zattarwali stands two strokes behind the leaders as in first eighteen holes he managed to fetched a round of gross 68, four under par with his amazing golfing skills. 

With splendid game play, six  nearest challengers to them are from the host side, by compiling a score of gross 69, three under par. They namely are: Muhammad Nazir, Muhammad Munir, Moazzam Siddique, Amjad Yousaf, Zohaib Asif and Shahid Javed Khan.

Sam Gills of USA is also in the run at the score of 69.
