Indian team yet to receive Pak visas for handball event
As foreign teams start arriving in Pakistan from Thursday (today) India are yet to receive visas for featuring in the International Women Handball Championship, which is to be held at Agriculture University Faisalabad from March 27 to 30.

An organiser told ‘The News’ on Wednesday that Pakistan High Commission in India was yet to get green signal from the Interior Ministry.
“The case has been put up before the Interior Ministry and we are waiting for its response. But we don’t have time as the event is just three days away,” the organiser said.
India, Maldives, Nepal, Uzbekistan and Pakistan are to compete in the four-day affair which will be played on league basis.
Maldives will arrive on Thursday night (today), Nepal will reach Lahore on March 26 via Wagah border and Uzbekistan will arrive later on the same day.
The opening game will be played on March 27 at 3:45pm. The last outing will be conducted on March 30 at 4:15pm between Nepal and Pakistan. The medal ceremony will be held at 5:45pm. Pakistan will play their opener on March 27 against Maldives at 5:15pm.
