Shahid Afridi launches " Road to Education" Tour

Shahid Afridi has launched "Road to Education Tour" to raise awareness for girls' education in Pakistan.

Shahid Afridi has launched a commendable new effort to promote girls' education in Pakistan by the name of "Road to Education".

The former captain of the National Cricket team announced his vision in front of several media outlets from outside the comforts of his home. The man of the evening was accompanied by the Shahid Afridi Foundation's (SAF) president, Jahangir Khan, singer and social activist Shahzad Roy and actor Adnan Siddiqui.

Speaking to the media, he provided some details of his endeavor,

“This project will be launched Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) and will start from Multan on Oct 21 and end at Lahore on Oct 31"

He said he will personally be at the helm of this project,

“I myself will be leading the project which focuses on raising awareness about the importance of education for underprivileged children in Pakistan, especially girls, and establishing a volunteer base for initiatives under taken by my foundation under the banner of ‘Lala Nation 10' " 

The tour will set its course through the cities of Multan, Muzaffargarh, Sadiqabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Haroonabad, Mian Channu, Faisalabad, Daharki, Gujranwala, Sargoda, Sialkot, Gujrat and Nankana.

"Lala" also invited all the interested parties to join and support his cause,

"Shahid Afridi Foundation invites everyone to take part in this tour which is solely dedicated to make quality education accessible for everyone"
