AFP to hold 4th National Youth & Junior Athletic Championship 2019
Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) is organizing the National Youth and Junior Athletics Championships which will feature athletes from 14 different regions from all over Pakistan.
Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) is organizing the 4th National Youth & Junior Athletic Championship 2019 which will feature athletes from 14 different regions from all over Pakistan.
Following are the regions from which athletes will be participating:
1. Pakistan Army
2. Pakistan Air Force
3. Pakistan Navy
4. WAPDA
5. Railways
6. Higher Education Commission
7. Punjab
8. Sindh
9. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
10. Balochistan
11. Islamabad
12. Azad Jammu and Kashmir
13. FATA and
14. Gilgit-Baltistan
More than 300 athletes will be participating in this two-day event and the competitions will be contested in four different category events.
Following are the categories:
1. 17 track and field events for Juniors Men
2. 15 for Junior Women
3. 16 for Youth Men and
4. 14 for Youth Women
AFP is taking every measure for the further uplift of the game by holding events on regular basis. Our National Senior and Junior teams are taking part in International events abroad which is helping our athletes, both men and women, to lift the level of their game.
