415-member Sindh contingent set to depart on 24th Oct for National Games 2019

A 415-member contingent of Sindh will leave for Peshawar on October 24 to feature in the 33rd National Games slated to be held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from October 26 to November 1.

 
A 415-member contingent of Sindh will leave for Peshawar on October 24 to feature in the 33rd National Games slated to be held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from October 26 to November 1. 

"Yes, we have made reservations and the contingent will leave on October 24 via Rehman Baba Express. We will reach there on October 25," Sindh Olympic Association (SOA) secretary Ahmed Ali Rajput said.
He said that the contingent has been finalised. He added that he expected good results from his players.

Five events of 33rd National Games will be held at Abbottabad for which Chairman Organizing Committee of Abbottabad Chapter Commissioner Hazara Syed Zaheer-ul-Islam has set deadline of completion of renovation and repair work on all the venues on or before October 19, just one week earlier then start of the Games from October 26.

Out of total 33 disciplines, Abbottabad got the honor of hosting, five different disciplines with more than 10,000 athletes from 14 different units affiliated with Pakistan Olympic Association are taking part.

Out of the total 33 Games, five in Abbottabad, two in Islamabad, two in Karachi (Sailing and Rowing), one is Jehlum (Shooting).
