1st Hi-Tech Ladies Golf Tournament wound up successfully
The fist ever Hi-Tech Ladies Golf Tournament successfully concluded with several golfers winning top spots in their respective categories at Royal Palm Golf Course in Lahore.
Hi Tech Grain Mills organized the Hi-Tech Ladies Golf Tournament for the first time ever that featured several talented lafy golfers who competed with all their skills so as to emerge winner in their respective categories.
Competitions were held in a total of three categories which included: handicap category 0 to 15, handicap category 16-24 and handicap category 25-36 while all the competitions were played on 18 holes. This event was hugely managed by Mrs Mina Zainab.
The first category winner stood Zaib Un Nisa from the host club while handicap category 16-24 class' crown was taken by Shazadi Gulfam of Garrison. Mina Zainab, also from Royal Palm Golf Club claimed the top spot of handicap category 25-36.
Zaib Un Nisa was followed by Ana James Gill on the runner up spot while Tehmina Ahmed settled for third. Mrs Ayesha Hamid earned top honors in the Net category of handicap category 25-36. Gulfreen Waheed took the second spot and Sumer Omer stood at third. Mrs Mina Zaina Zainab claimed first gross, Mrs Maimoona Azam, the second.
In handicap category 16-24, Iman Ali Shah managed to topple while Mrs Shahbana Waheed and Mrs Rubina Nasir managed second and third positions, respectively.
The girls section's winner position was collected by Hadiyah Osama. Adina Ataullah took the runner up pot while Anaya Fareed settled for the third spot.
Shahzadi Gulfam grabbed first in Gross, Dr Shaheen Irfan took the second spot and Shahnaz Moeen managed the third spot. The best gross round was produced by Zaib, who carded an impressive gross 78 which turned out to be the best round of the day and another prominent one, who put up a good round stood Shahzadi Gulfam.
Justice Sardar Shamim Khan, Chief Justice Lahore High Court and Mrs Shamim Khan were the honorable chief guests who graced the event open alongside Justice Abid Aziz, Dr Muhammed Arshed, Mrs Asma Shami who at the ended distributed trophies among the high achievers of the event along with gift vouchers in Rs 20,000 range.
This event's successful conduction was possible because of the spirited efforts of Dr Muhammed Arshed of Hi Tech Grain Mills and who is himself an accomplished golf enthusiast, who has done two holes in one in the past year.
