With their wins, Murad Ali and Owais of WAPDA set up an unlikely men’s singles title clash while Palwasha Bahir of NBP is up against and WAPDA’s Ghazala Siddiqui for women singles final on Friday (today).
NBP’s Murad, a bronze medalist at the South Asian Games 2016, and Azeem Sarwar of WAPDA had an enthralling battle where Murad snatched 2-1 victory while in the second semifinal Owais outshine Attiq Tahir of Punjab by 2-1.
In the women’s Doubles semifinals, Saima Waqas & Ghazala Siddiqui overwhelmed Mehmona Amir & Zahra by 2-1 while in singles Palwasha beat Javeria by 2-0.
