Lahore City emerged as the winners of the Inter-District Girls’ Table Tennis event held here at the Punjab College Hall
Lahore City emerged as the winners of the Inter-District Girls’ Table Tennis event held here at the Punjab College Hall on Monday.
Raiwind finished runners-up while Lahore Cantt captured third, Model Town fourth and Shalimar fifth position.
In the first match, Model Town beat Shalimar 3-2 while Raiwind beat Cantt 3-2 and City beat Model Town 3-0.
In the final, City outplayed Raiwind after a tough contest.
During the event, Divisional Sports officer Nadeem Qaiser, District Sports Officer Tanveer Abbass, Rehan Roshan, Saba Warris and all other sports officials of the city district government were present on the occasion.
DO Sports Nadeem said these events were being organised on the special directions of DCO Lahore Captain (r) Usman Younis for the promotion of sports across the city.
