Pakistani shooters improve their International Rankings (2019)
According to the chart released by International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) for October, Pakistani shooters have risen in World Rankings 2019.
The chart released by International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) for October states that Pakistani shooters have improved their rankings as Khalil Akhtar rose to 14th from 15th spot in 25-meter Rapid Fire Pistol event while Ghulam Mustafa Bashir retained the 17th position in this category. This makes them top ranked shooters from Pakistan at the international level.
Farrukh Nadeem rose one position to the 76th in Trap event who have played two World Cups: in Lahti and Al-Ain whereas Aamer Iqbal jumped to 155th from 162nd who competed in World Cup in Al-Ain.
In Skeet, Usman Chand who participated in World Championship in Lonato, and World Cups in Changwon and Al-Ain, moved to 136th from the 141st spot alongside Ahmad Usman.
The current year have witnessed Khalil and Bashir playing three World Cups in Rio, Munich, and Beijing.
Pakistan shooters are now set to part-take in 14th Asian Championship to be held from 03rd to 13th November in Doha which will be their last event before Olympics 2020.
